Product Service System: Presentation Boards

  1. I think the concept for the design is quite valid, sun safety is a massive issue that is underestimated, i like the idea of having a product like this at the beach especially because it is such a hassle to bring my own sun protection and it always gets dirty. It is good that you have managed to help make people aware, save material, and increase protection.
The product does seem quite simple and it would be great if there was a mirror on the front casing too so when using the product the person can see if they have rubbed their cream in.

    All in all good job

  2. great way to stop people from getting sunburnt. this is needed on many beachs asap. so many times i see people (especially tourists) coming from the beach sunburnt. this would prevent burning and eventual skin cancer, really good design.

  3. I think this is a great idea, I am always forgetting to take my sunscreen to the beach! I really like the colour, I think it is a great choice as it is easy to identify. My only concern would be that on a really hot day down at Bondi beach there would be tonnes of people, so 2 litres of sunscreen would run out quite quickly. A solution would be to make a slightly bigger unit or to have multiple units at each beach. Great idea, I could definitely see myself using this service.

  4. I like how your service reminds people of sun safety by providing a convenient dispenser to obtain sunscreen. I can associate with the social issue as carring sunscreen is very heavy and definitely when it gets stuck to sand is a major barrier for consumers to avoid using sunsreen. Your product is seen to break that barrier although if I had to comment on an improvement it would have to be the visual language of the design. Maybe look at something that screams out 'use me' and says that its sunscreen other than the writing. Other than great idea.

  5. Definitely a service much needed on Australian beaches. It's Easy to use and fun too! No more sand getting in the cap of my sunscreen.. Perhaps your decal needs a little more detail encouraging users to walk up to it and interact with it. Well done!!!

  6. I think your PSS would be very useful in Australia where beach is a popular culture here. And with the government pushing skin cancer campaign, it could be a very potential PSS. However I think you could do more on the design. The simplicity of the mechanism is nice as normal sunscreen isn't hard to use, people wouldn't want to use your product if it's too complicated. But the design kind of reminds me of a soap dispenser. It might be a good think as they're both dispenser so it gives that sense of familiarity, but making it more appealing would attract more people and especially children! People need to start using sunscreen from young age

  7. Would love to see this around aussie beaches. I always seem to forget my sunscreen at home when i go out. Definately a great idea, however i think the actual design just needs a little work as it just looks abit to blocky.

  8. banking product pricing
Technology has irrevocably changed customer expectations and how their needs are met. Traditionally, services have solved specific functional needs; food for example, was a process of purchase and preparation at the very least, or going out to eat, involving distance, time, travel and expense.
